Another post from Carolyn P.

This time of year makes me always think of Gayle. She always brought me and my sister her handmade jewelry that she made for holiday craft shows. We loved them! One year she even made us decorative wine bottles with lights. She was so thoughtful and giving and caring.  Gayle just always thought of others. Many times I would be talking about troubles and the next thing I knew I was getting a book to help me.  I never knew how to show my appreciation for all she did. I think she knew how fond myself and my family were of her.  So many good memories.  We loved to go see her play in the band. So much fun.  Such a great friend. Will always miss Gayle and keep all those good memories with me.

  1. As is our custom in Judaism, we lit a memorial candle for Gayle, to remember her, to honor her, and to celebrate her. Our remarkable friend! It continues to glow today…as it burns for the customary 24 hours. Her kindness and generosity will be remembered.
Her intensity with politics and sports will be remembered. Her artistic talents in music
will be remembered. And her devotion to Laura will be remembered. We miss her
intensely. She will live on in our shared memories.
