I’m thinking of Gayle today

Remembering her genuine encouragement, interest, and concern about my life as a musician, as well as sincere care about my health and well being. I miss her dry sense of humor. Her desire for political and social justice. And while I know we all miss Gayle’s presence with us, I know I can also say I’m very happy for the time I had with Gayle, both growing up and as an adult. She always supported me and was somebody with whom I could be my honest self. Thank you for that Gayle. I love you and miss you.
